Car Vandalism
« on: June 20, 2007, 05:59:21 pm »
How many people had their badges gouged off their cars on Friday night? The damage caused to my Elise by crude removal using a screwdriver is sickening. I spoke to several guys on our site (Bleu Nord) with Ferraris, Porsches and Lotuses that suffered the same thing. Have posted a complaint to the organisers. Such a shame that the friendly relationship we have with the people of Le Mans has been spoiled by a few mindless idiots. >:(

Somebody tried to nick the prancing horse off the Mondie from Parking Blanc on Friday night.  They didn't succeed but it's pretty bent. :(

Things like this and the thieving from people's tents is sickening.

They really need to do something about proper security or the whole thing will go rapidly downhill!

I think that all members that have suffered damage or theft should do as MGMARK, has done in the thread ACO RESPONSE, and write to the ACO using the e mail address that Mark has supplied.
