You're not the only one on at the moment. I just thought I'd check out the messeges to see if anyone had reported back from the FoS.
Like Smokie and Powermite we went yesterday - see their postings elsewhere.
The FoS was a great day, beautiful weather, huge crowds making it hard to see the track action (unfortunately we did't have grandstand seats
) but managet to see enough, and good company of friends who had a stand with grub and plenty of cool drinks.
Worst for us was the traffic coming in to the event. 2hours 15mins from Cardiff to Chichester, 1 hour 45 minutes for approx 3 miles into the car park! We were anticipating a long wait to get out but managed it in about 15 mins after the long walk back to the car park. Just lucky I guess.
Here's hoping that those going today have similar luck, but I bet the drive in is going to be a long one for them as well.
Looking forward to traffic tales tomorrow.
