LM500 Challenge - Points to note.

Outsiders will be permitted to join on agreement of the committee (you know who you are) and a firework fund donation.

A full race charter is evolving as we speak, watch this space...

Objectives of the Challenge-  Drive to Le Mans in banger , treat
vehicle with minimal respect culminating in xxxx :P derby on Sunday
evening, return to Blighty via Train or Minibus.
Weekend cost of car, camping & race entry not to exceed £500.
All cars to be painted in team colours ( TBA) by hand.
Team entries of driver & up to 3 passengers allowed.
Cars to be fitted with Rocket Launch Tubes
Cars to be modified in such a way so that Lights will not be smashed by
slight bumping, purpose being to remain legal until arrive at
destination.
Nitrous Kits allowed but must fall within budget.
Special Prizes to be awarded for varying categories:- Cheapest, most
interesting, most unusual feature, best modification etc.

Finally all cars must be booked on Seacat rather than that bloody
boring ferry! :P

I was really up for this in the Commer. With a few mods to fit rocket launchers and nitrous I reckon I qualified this year anyway, so no sweat. The tough old boot is made of cast iron and is totally indestructable.

Then I read the last sentence.... Sorry, but if you seriously think I am ever travelling again on that hideous heap of Seacatshit, then you are sadly very much mistaken my fine feathered friends.
I wouldn't sit there if I were you, it's still a bit wet.
