They are complete and utter crap.
I wouldn't give you tuppence for one.
Well I guess that as you have driven one you can make an informed decision on how much to pay, but I think for the right price they could be a good basis for a Britcar racer or someother mini-enduro type racing if you had the facilities to look after and devleopme them. Running gear is all bought in after all, just don't prang it cos I doubt there are many panels about!
Geoff, not only have I not driven one, but I will never drive one.
I looked at them at Silverstone at an LMS race a few years ago. I recall the standard of workmanship and finish was absolutely appalling, they'd make TVRs look well made. A total lash-up in the worst tradition of the kitcar industry, it was an ugly f**k*r too. At £75,000 they cost more than 911 money, which I felt at the time was a total joke. Contemporary road tests were pretty unflattering. It seems the punters agreed and stayed away in droves, as the production figures were way way short of the ridiculously optimistic sales targets. They sold just 65 cars in three years

Laughable!
The rumoured 1000bhp versions were just with an NOS kit added to the standard 320bhp Ford V8 (as fitted to the F150 truck

) it was all a load of dick-waving by MG Rover management.
If it had been any good, I for one would have backed it to the hilt. But as it wasn't...
