Not sure this would go down too well now-a-days.....

And the return of.......

Agreed, interesting sponsors. Some more colourful than the drivers/cars. It would get boring otherwise.

Some great pix there Christopher.

Nice shots of the cars getting ready on the pit straight.

I think mine, from the race, from the entry to Porsche curves was not the best place to go, as the cars looked slow and dwarfed at this point of the track (but I got up late and figured it was easier to walk there than into the circuit from BN).

If they return again in a few years time, I will make the effort and get to somewhere after Dunlop bridge to watch them.

I feel that the 15.00 start for the race has made the preliminaries seem very crowded in, so you have to be pretty sorted for the support race.  Like you, I'd have liked to have got out on the circuit for the race, but it's so very short and doesn't give much prep' time!

I never did get into the paddocks for a close up look; you're right about the sponsors!  I'm just glad that the rules on this (no ciggie or booze ads)aren't enforced for the historics.   Those Jags just don't look the same out of Silk Cut livery.

That was the great thing about HAN, 5 mins walk to Tetre Rouge, watch the race, back for breakfast.

Agreed Barry, I watched the Group C from Tertre Rouge, then dropped by the Stella Bar for a 'stock take'  Grin
