I've spent the past weekend at the Nürburgring to attend the Adac Eifelrennen. Eifelrennen is the oldest race-weekend that has been organised at the Ring, and goes back to 1922. On the Nordschleife, during the whole weekend oldtimers are divided in classes to drive some kind of regularity-stage. The GP-circuit is the homebase for several old-timer and classic races. Top notch of the weekend is the Eifelrennen itself, with a race on the "Gesammtstrecke"; Nordschleife plus GP-circuit and the Classic F1 race on the GP-circuit.
If you're into classic cars, this is an event you'll have to go to sometime.
