Is it front wheel drive? Is that a front drive shaft? ???
I wouldn't sit there if I were you, it's still a bit wet.

The car is a Bobtail Cooper 1100cc Climax.  It was run by the Reno Racing Team consisting of Harry Banta, John Barneson and Leo Bourke.  I was the mechanic who rebuilt the engine and prepared the car.  Leo is the only surviving member of the Team and I saw him last Sunday 5/25/14 at a Birthday Party in Novato, California.
