Today (Tuesday) I tried to find a place in Le Mans to exchange £ for €. There is however some kind of strike among bank and post office workers in Le Mans. As a result I'm quite flush in British folding money but rather short in the Euro department.
So... if you were planning to change money here in La belle France, I suggest doing it before crossing the channel!
