Fairground Attractions
« on: January 25, 2004, 10:07:41 am »
OK, I've got the CA car sticker and the T shirt is on order - but how about Club Arnage doing something of real benefit for Lemons-goers?
I refer of course to the recent desperate lack of - er - adult entertainment in female form, and those somewhat elderly characters dressed in leather performing on the Wall of Death in the fairground ......... :( :(  I think Gilles should find out who their agent is, book them and get a rival fairground going in Maison Blanche......Nobody would mind making space I'm sure ;) ;) ;) ;)

Welcome, Rolex - You have a lot to learn, and this is the place to learn it !

The fair is now much more politically correct than it used to be (stalls such as The Fattest Lady; Nudes With Snakes; Strippers etc etc have gone - hence my suggestion above !) but still (or did last year) features a Karting track that is highly dangerous (pissed Brits thinking its the dodgems  ::) ::) ) and several vomit-inducing apparatus which should not be approached too closely due to the lumpy rain that showers down on passers-by ::) ::)
As far as rides, it rather depends on what you define as a ride ....... ;) ;) ;)

Dryhen,
It's a tough call, but count me in.
I may not make a very convincing woman, but let's face it, most of the punters will not be in full command of their senses, or walletts. A little, blusher and foundation here, some ducktape there; the right moves, lighting and a coy smile will go a long way.
What do you reckon? a leather clad dominatrix, frilly wild west saloon bar gal, a 20's vamp a la Marlena Deitrich..
Excuse me a moment. I must visit the lavatory.
Right now.

How do you shoot a shotgun?  Do they hang the shotguns at the back and you take potshots at them with those little air guns ?  Small targets ??????  ???

I used to love watching this.  The track was surrounded by a huge inflatable barrier and many 'drivers' used to get shunted and be ejected from the karts and over the barrier.
Much hilarity.  :D

Did you see it there last year. Gone are the warm cans of cheap lager!!!

I'm sure it was now something crazy like 10 Euros a go and you can win a 2 Euro cap if you do well!!
