Good cause for celebration and recognition, and still a great place. T-shirt and Lanyard please.

My original lanyard has gone brown! Worn out, which is weird because Lawnmower Man had it for about ten years before I even got it!
I wouldn't sit there if I were you, it's still a bit wet.

Hey Guys.  Been a long time since I've been on the CA site.  Good to see some of the old timers still posting.  Congrats on 25 years of excellent information and help to race fans interested in sports car racing.  I haven't been to Le Mans, Sebring, or Petit Le Mans in quite a few years.  Am now in Colorado for the summers to escape the hot, humid summers in Houston.  So I have hooked up to the Pikes Peak International Hillclimb in Colorado Springs as a race official.  (like a track worker).  So if anyone finds themselves wanting to see some Race to the Clouds racing come on to Colorado Springs the last Sunday of June.  Finish line is 14,110 feet.  Second oldest racing event in the USA.

Hi John

Lovely to hear from you after all this time. Delighted to hear you are well and still enjoying your racing. Pikes Peak is a bucket list thing for me so if I ever make it I will certainly hook up with you. I hope all is well and best wishes to you!  Andy Zarse

In the lifespan of internet forums that is a pretty impressive achievement!

Andy my man.  Good to hear from you as well.  Yes Pikes Peak Hillclimb is a heckava race for sure.  It is frightening to look at the edge of the road and only see blue sky.  That's the way it is up in elevation.  Start line and first 2/3 rds of race is among the trees but above the tree line it's a bit disoriented especially driving at high speeds.  And, yes, the dirt road was a hoot in its day.  Lots more drifting for sure.  Last Sunday in June, just after LeMans.  Hope to see you.  Cheers and drive it like you stole it!!!!!

Gents - I'm in for any celebratory merchandise but particularly like the ideas of embroidered polo shirts (I still have my original), lanyards and a bumper sticker.
I tested negative for patience.
