The year before last a crew at the side of us had a monster of a genny, first thoughts were oh my god no. They then proceeded to cover it in 6 inch industrial insulation, the type that has the silver foil attatched on both sides, small hole cut out for the exhaust and the job was a good one, it purred like a kitten.
Morning to all you early risers.
Not long now Gab.

We will be digging a pit for ours and than parking a car over the pit and then chaining the genny (or Jenifer as we like to call her) to the car.  No sugar in our fuel please!!!

Could get expensive if that cheapo generator we have should happen to catch light though. God Forbid. Shocked

What do the genny owners here do to keep them quiet

Best way is dig a pit - we were camped up last year next to The Brethren (bless them) and their buried genny didn't disturb anyone - might have had something to do with the vast quantities of ale consumed though.......
