Anyone know if monday June 7th is a Bank Holiday? Ie will the Carefour be open or will we have to queue for hours in the little supermarket?

Yes, it is a Bank Holiday in France, make sure you take enough beer, wine and food as hypers will not be open.

Hi Mr Toad, not only half of France but MANY visitors to the beaches for 60th Anniversary celebrations. Expect tight security as GW and other world leaders will be there.
