Hire something interesting for 2005
« on: November 10, 2004, 07:54:28 pm »
Apparently track-club (part of www.track-sense.com) may be hiring out cars at a trackday on the Bugatti circuit the weekend before Le Mans 2005

If you're in the club you can also hire cars to take to Le Mans as they let you do European track days as well as road trips.  It's like Damon Hills P1 thing but for the track.

Nice........

I'm not in the club, but someone could hire me for a shakedown test in the mornings if they want.

I'm off and away for a few weeks, keep on trucking chaps, or, I think they say 'keep larging it geez', these days.

Looks to me like you can't even joint the club yet, and all prices seem to be TBA. Though judging by the £100 discount on the yet to be announced joining fee alone it will be pretty pricey  :(

Nice idea if you've got the dosh mind.....

Having seen prices of hire of "exotics" for road use, this will be a lot higher risk, so will prob be quite pricey!

Spend £100 buying an Ebay banger, £40 on the track day, and bring it along to one of the DR days  ;D

Fair point, what do we think would be reasonable to hire something decent for track use?  P1 is apparently £15k for the year which gets you 5,000 miles!!

With track-club it looks like about £300 a day but less for cheaper cars.
