Karting fiend
« on: April 06, 2005, 09:09:30 pm »
Hello to all.

Just a quick introducion. This year will be my 3rd trip and I'm determined to return for years to come so maybe one day I'll be as knowledgable as some of you 'oldies'!!

Anyway there are some things I want to know so I'll be throwing a few posts into the forum.

Maybe I'll see some of you this year, hopefully on the Kart track near the Porsche curves!!  :D

I wouldn't worry about that too much Dobbo, I think you will find that lots of the "knowledge" is actually alcohol fueled "might have done that" memories  ;D

Anyway welcome to the forum, and may all your Junes be Happy French Ones  ;)

welcome anyway. Some are much older than they appear.

Others are just old and greying

Smokie, its a term of respect and endearment.  I think dobbo is referring to your membership length as opposed to physical age.  Like elder statesman, etc.

Dobbo Dude
Have you ever raced a bogey/'T' Tray/kart? there is nothing quite like it, trust me. Good luck at LM and welcome. Perhaps some of the alcohol fueled comments are fueled by alcohol...seems a reasonable argument..hic!
