We met thsi chap who seemed rather happy!!

Indeed he was! Within moments of the car crossing the line he turned and waved up at  us in our position right over the Aston pits. A further five seconds later, the whole CA team were down the stairs and in with the celebrating Aston team. Richards had a big unlit Cuban cigar, the end of which he had been worrisomely chomping on for some time as the laps counted down. He came bowling over to me and Steve Brown, proffered a hand to us and asked us if we'd come all the way just to watch. I said I'd really only come down to offer him a light for the cigar or was he intending just to look at the damn thing. He slung an arm around our shoulders and called his wife over, saying "For God's sake get a photo of me and these guys!". I'd like to think he'll treasure that memory for years.  ;)

Anyway, the man is an absolute gentleman and born winner, surely he's is better off out of the snakepit that is F1.
I wouldn't sit there if I were you, it's still a bit wet.

Thank you, please just feel free to rub it in. This stuff makes me even more jealous... argh. ;D Nice one, Andy.
I don't care - I'm a racing driver and I'm here to win, not to finish third.

Bloody hell Bobblehat, that would be some doing have you met JPC (my guess would be that you could run the complete Aston team on JPC's lunch expenses)  ;)

Any married man should forget his mistakes. There's no use in two people
remembering the same thing
