As Chris24 says, if you have the opportunity and the time you MUST do it.
One important thing I should point out is that entry is by advance ticket sale only. They are doing this to try and keep the numbers down. Also, if you do go, leave plenty of time to get in and out as the traffic can be a problem, well worth the queuing though......

I will be going on the saturday during the day, may even change to Friday, if its going to be really busy..
But you MUST advance book the tickets this year. They wont accept payment on the door.

The WANCs have been a few times and it really is a great day out. The fact that its the weekend after LM is the reason why powermite wanc cant go but as AJ and Doubtfire Wancs are not family tied, maybe they will accompany you.

Date definatly causes a problem, thought I had found a neat way round it by offering to take the 12 year old there for a birthday treat, he said he wasn't really intrestred . Have to think of another good reason now.

Hoping to make it again this year.
I have only been on a Friday or Saturday, of the too I prefer the Friday. The teams and drivers where a bit more relaxed and there where fewer people there.

Friday, Saturday and Sunday It really doesnt make a lot of difference. If you REALLY have to choose then Saturday and Sunday may have even more of the top name drivers than on the Friday, but you can trade that against the fact that is is slightly less crowded on the Friday. This gives you a little easier access to those that are there on the day.

Recommend friday, not all the stars are there but someone will blast the cars up the track for sure. It's quieter and you can get closer to the cars in the paddock. The totty is pretty good too and less horrible children running around too.

Its looking like i might as well say to hell with work for that week after Le Mans and go for a couple of days, anyone know anywhere cheap to stay, probably a b & b because i don't fancy a second weekend in a tent.
Being a postgrad student has all the perks of student life, (no boss and time off when i like, oh and i get to put doc in front of my name - not like those medical lot though) with the pay cheque.

Sorry, i can't help with B & B info , but i bet they are all booked up by now anyway. We camp at a nice little place about 4 miles away in Barnham (Lillies Caravan Park), Its £12 a night for a pitch, with a minimum of a 3 night booking on the Festival of Speed weekend.
