Winners from Yorkshire

Anyone know if a Yorkshireman has ever won the race?  The Bentley Boys all seemed to be Londoners and more recent winners seem to be from the South or Scotland.

Hmmm, can't think of one - Tim Sugden came 4th in '98, if I'm not mistaken, tha' knows.

Not sure about Le Mans.................but I'm sure they've won a few Whippet races in their time ( I can get away with this because my dad come from 'Ull........as my grandparents used to pronounce it.....god bless them)
