Radios
« on: August 17, 2005, 05:06:46 pm »
I saw quite a lot of Danes wearing 'Ear Defender' radios this year.  I dont call them headphone radios because they really are more like industrial ear defenders.

One of them told me that he bought his in Denmark, but I've been unable to find any in the UK.

Anyone got any ideas?

Its just my personal preference, but i prefer to use regular lil earphones worn under proper industrial ear defenders - more adaptable (ie you dont HAVE to have the radio AND defenders at the same time) , you can get more effective defenders that fit properly, and you dont have that silly lil stickky uppy thing......

But if you insist on having the combo, i have seen them for sale at LM circuit.

Peltor do posh ear defenders with built in headphones, but I think we're talking £60.  They may be noise cancelling too (I'd hope so at that price)

They were for sale at one or two of the stalls that run along behind the grandstands on the start/finish straight as I recall.
