Reminds me of my honeymoon in the Maldives in '99 when Man Utd were in the European Cup Final against Bayern Munich.  There we were way out in the Indian Ocean with about 20 other brits and 100 germans.  All getting pissed in the bar, and the germans getting more and more excited because they were winning... until... 89th minute England equalise.  Then on comes the super-sub himself Teddy Sherringham to score the winner in about the 2nd minute of extra time!  Su-bloody-perb!

The highlight?  A geordie guy shouting "Hello loser, fancy a medal?" as each of the Munich players collected their runners-up medal...

We then played them at table football and pool for beers as well, and we won those too!!  

That's all very well, but they've got Tom Kristenson, so they actually won all that matters.

How so Bob, we won the beer!!!!!
