Well as some of you will have seen, we got hit by a porn spammer this morning. A new user posted the same post and picture onto over 120 separate threads. >:( >:(

My apologies for that, and any offence caused by the content, but there is little we can do to stop it. We are fortunate that this is the first serious hit we've ever had.

The account was created at 07:52 today using the email address donald92135@yahoo.com, from IP address 72.234.50.113 with a hostname udp038291uds.hawaiiantel.net. Please do not be tempted to attempt to interfere with his online activities as this could get you in trouble.  ;D

The account is now banned and the offending posts removed. Apologies if any other posts have disappeared.

While Steve and I will do our best to clean up these things as soon as possible, please understand that we are voluntary, and have a day job ( - I just had to delay a conference call to clean up!!).

Thanks to all those who used the Report to Moderator button, which was where I first heard of the problem (I'd been on the forum not five minutes before!!). Just FYI, Report to Moderator sends an email to the moderator rather than a PM. This is the best way to report abuse, as I am less likely to spot a new PM.

Once again, apologies.

Hmm, I thought it was more logic to send a PM as I saw you online. So much for my ability to think logically :-\

I have the box checked to leave me logged on. And anyway, although I might have CA open in my browser, I'm not always active.

I suppose if it happens again, Report AND PM...

sh**t, porn and I missed it.
Anyway hawaiiantel.net is Hawaiian Telecom.
http://www.hawaiiantel.net/wps/portal
Might be worth sending them an email saying one of their customers is spamming BB's with porn.

There is an acceptable use violation address here

Beleive me, I had the 'luck' that I saw this porn, and it wasn't something you would like I guess.  :-\

Wanted to show a collegue the flying Aston, and came up with a picture of a guy with big boner.  :o

This film should be played at high volume, so don't come complaining about it! And who the hell is Steve?
