Le Mans Airport
« on: May 31, 2006, 02:57:27 pm »
Does anyone know what services are offered from Le Mans Airport?

We have one in our group at PQ that may need to get back to UK pretty smart ish.

They believe that they can get a flight from LM to Paris then on to London

There are flights from Le Mans to Paris then on to London.  I looked at this option for m wife.  However train is a lot cheaper and not much slower!  The TGV gets to Paris in around an hour, then an hour to cross Paris and Eurostar back to London.

A quick peek at the SNCF site suggests that TGV from LM to Paris is just less than an hour and more or less hourly on Sunday evenings.  It would appear to be about £25 ish.

There are also one or two trains that go to Lille where you can change for the Eurostar.  Saves you worrying about crossing Paris.

Advice is free it's there to use if you want.   I've found that it's best to let them get on with it.

I know, she does like to make a mountain out of a mole hill. It is all over her 26 year old daughter, she has a kidney infection and may need her mother to look after her. I also know that if she comes she will spend all weekend going on about it.

eeerrrrrrrrrr what time does my local open up !!
