Arriving midnight/1am Friday night - any issues?
« on: June 11, 2003, 02:46:24 pm »
The earliest Ferry we can catch is 5.45pm on Friday from Dover unfortunately.
This means we'll be getting there pretty late. That's not good for a first-timer.
I have a camping ticket (Houx Annexe) but no admission ticket.
1. Will I be able to get into the campsite with no admission ticket?
1a. If I need a ticket will I be able to get one at that time of night?
2. Will I be able to find a space in the campsite?
3. Any other snags?

Thanks guys

You don't need an admission ticket to get onto the campsite; just your camping permit.

Get your general admission ticket the following morning at the sales desks.

You won't have too much in the way of choice regarding your pitch. Take what you can find at this point. The party should be in full swing all around you.

Now other problems that I can think of......just have a laugh!
If you can't fix it with a hammer, you have an electrical problem.

Just make sure you pick up your beer on the way before the supermarkets close. Can you imagine, being in a Le Mans camp site without any beer!!!! :o

Isn't there a 24hr supermarket near arnage?
Never argue with an idiot, they'll only drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Sorry, he have 24h race but not supermarkets !!!

just provide you urgent stuff on stations services such as elf or total....
... but be careful they normally not sell alcoholic beverages from 10 pm to 7 am !!!
Le Mans is life, anything before and after is just waiting...

... it's not the taking part but the winning that counts !
