Just considering my next steed. And I'm leaning towards the UK derivative of a Holden, namely a Vauxhall Monaro or VXR8.

Anyone have any first hand experience of them??

No hands on experience, but as a fan of things Australian ;) I would say go for the VXR8, The Monaros are cool but the VX has even more grunt. Basic engineering too so not alot to go wrong.
If you get one, I will bring you a set of Holden badges back from Perth in November... then it will look like its meant to ;D

A few more pics.. My Dad is the last pic on BSJ '05. Bless him, He started all this for me in '88 but has retired from LM now. Fcukin Hero for all his efforts over the last 20 years, and for putting up with a son like me >:D.

I was most impressed with Verns addition to it all... you have to add time, like "now",  so now will be" folllow me I'm right behind you now", I'm right behind you three pair of twats isnt it now" and "sh*t myself have you now"  Nice to learn foreign Lingo ;D

They did a V8 protoype one.... it was pink ;D ;D :o I think around '72.
Fuel crisis and crash testing ended that and the end result was buried... as were so many Oz specials.
