Help from the US please!
« on: June 21, 2008, 04:02:58 pm »
We had a coffee related disaster when we managed to trash the Coleman Percolator on the way out to Le Mans  ::)

I need to buy a replacement (and a spare)glass knob for one of these http://www.amazon.com/Coleman-14-Cup-Coffee-Enamelware-Percolator/dp/B0009PUQI2but I can't find one in the UK and Coleman UK and Europe have never been very helpful.

I can find them here http://www.coleman.com/coleman/parts/ProductImage2.asp?product_id=802E705T
(knob only) for $2.50 but they don't ship to the UK.   I've also found comments that you can buy them in outdoor stores in the states.

Can anyone source me a couple of these and ship them over to me?  Obviously I'll pay all the costs.

We got through it with the help of the expresso maker  ;D

I was hoping that one of our friendly Americans could source the part from a camping store and mail it over to save me having to go through the pain of ordering from Coleman and giving a UK billing address...

Got your message earlier, off to bed now though, still catching up from last week!  Then off out tomorrow.

Thank God for that! And did you not have the Bradleys 'Bertha' ? Surely some respite from caffine withdrawl?

Let me know if you'd like my help and I'll get it sorted for you

Have a good sleep, I know about catching up on sleep ;) Have a good day tomorrow

Hi Phil, I was just glad someone made use of the ticket, no point it sitting in my bag unused.

I think I'm sorted on this now, I'll let you know if I need you....

Thanks

Hi Piglet

I'll be glad to send you the Coleman knob.  I'll PM you for details.  I need to send some stuff to Holland so this will help educate me on overseas shipping.
