far from it, but by the time Ian... had thought of a picture it was the end of the day, the overalls were covered in grass stains, especially on the knees and Ian... had lost his flying hat.  So not a complete ensemble, and the shame of it all, he had shaved his moustache off

It certainly is. I know of a similar one in a local old gents hallway. Its not as shiny but was one of his souvenirs from his adventures when he was young.
