Parking almost sold out !?
« on: January 02, 2009, 01:12:06 pm »
Whilst I haven't received confirmation of any camping passes yet , I was looking to check the cost of additional parking as our group has increased in size. However the only parking showing as available was rotonde which is a bit out of the way.

Is it usual for the parking to sell out quickly?

I'm pretty sure that last year they didn't load the majority of the camping/parking onto the online system (I imagine that's where you've looked?) until after the majority of the allocations have been made.

Perhaps it's the same?   I'd give them a call or drop them an email and see if you can add something extra to your order or put in an additional order to them direct.

yes ,it was online where I checked, it listed very little as being available to order other than rotonde parking and BSJ camping. I'll send them an email on Monday as the car list should be "finalised" then.

I contacted the ACO office about the parking and received the following e mail response today;

"Dear Sir,

Here is a booking form and you won't have some news before a few months.

Yours faithfully."

Which I took to mean that I wouldn't get any confirmation on the tickets already requested for quite a while yet.

So I'll just send it of as an additional request and see what I get.
