The local TV news on BBC south east has been reporting that Sea France ferries are in financial problems and losing €20 million ayear.
A proposed rescue deal has collapsed and Sea France now have a month to sort it out.
If you have a crossing with them for the race with them BE CAREFUL.

As with anything at the moment, the standard advice is to pay by credit card rather than by debit card.  You will then be protected for items that are over a certain limit (that I think is £100 but I can't be bothered to check).

I would not mind, but I've just booked the team onto Sea France since the collapse of Speedferries Roll Eyes At least the CC company have refunded the me the Speedferries ticket  Cheesy

If Sea France go west, it'll be the first time that the Franch government will have let a national carrier go under....but there is always a firs time....
