Sad indeed, but the guy was over-insured, so he should be okay :)

Well if its a write off then can i have it please. How cool would it be to park that in your garage with the front end sticking out the door so that everyone thinks you have a McLaren. ;D

Seeing the "Can't park don't Drive" stuff reminds of some guy at work that always parked half in one bay and half in another.
I guess to ensure that he didn't get any car park rash from people opening their doors.
That obviously P*ssed off some people.  So they parked either side of him so close that he couldn't get in to his car.

I gather he was not a happy bunny when the saw what they had done.   Most thought it very hilarious.  After that he started parking in a more remote part of the car park.

Here's more of the same car in a different spot at Silverstone. I have to say they still are a beautiful car and far nicer than that Mercedes thing they did.

This year after waiting 10+ years I got the re-released Minichamps 1/12 model which has been signed by Gordon Murray  :-*
