Anyone have any tips or info about attending the motorbike 24 hours at Le Mans?

Is it just the same set up as for the cars, which campsites are open, are tickets easy to order, what happens during the week, etc.

I believe that the clientele make the car race fans look sophisticated and demure.
I don't know if it is still in force, but there was a bylaw banning the sale of beer in shops within 10 km of the circuit at the Moto 24.

All the info's on the ACO website Fran, look under tickets and I think there is a pdf file you can download with info.

Sorry we missed you this year, hope you had a good time.

LOL - sounds like it could be fun!

I tried the ACO site, but for some reason cant open the Moto link at the moment (strangely, it seems to be stuck on a pic of the victorious Peugeot team)!!!

Anyway - ACO official info is no substitute for actual CA knowledge.... Smiley

P.S.  Sorry I didnt get across to your camp this year Barry....I did have Confit at a restaurant one evening,  but it wasnt a patch on yours.

Mr Piglet has been a few times I think.  Also  maybe Fagie?

Their are no overflow campsites open, just the ACO ones (ie no BSJ etc) and tickets are available on line from the beginning of the year, iirc, although as you probably know, all the booking methods etc are changing from this year so things may well change again.
