On Friday morning, I took a drive to La Chartre-sur-le-Loir. I had gone there on the Wednesday, to have a look at the 'hall of fame' in the hotel bar, and got chatting to a couple of English chaps who mentioned that the Aston Martin Owners Club was putting on a bit of a show on the Friday morning.

Turns out they 'closed' off the square in front of the hotel and filled it with AMs from all eras. I preferred the elder models, but there was one of everything it seemed. Stirling was guest at the fancy lunch along the winning '59 car.......but I didn't wait for the crowds to retreat so no pics of them.

As some on here have said, Chartre is not much different to any rural French small town, but does have a LM connection. The walls in the bar are covered with interesting photos, that produce a nice walk through some of LM history.
