English, in France with 240Z
« on: March 20, 2010, 08:21:05 am »
Hello all.

I began visiting Le Mans in '95 and have been every year since - I even moved down here (just two hrs away) so I've no excuse. As you can tell from the title, I go in my Datsun 240Z and therefore enjoy Le Mans Classic BUT the 24 hrs is the business with the fantastic atmosphere - I love it.

Even if I have to work during the week, I pitch my tent and work each day from there (I quality control road construction in the Pays de la Loire region). My young son sometimes joins me now.......indoctrination ;-) !

Child indoctrination is essential - that's what my father did to me.

Welcome to CA from a fellow Pays de la Loire resident (where else would you live, for god's sake? ;D)

See you in June.

I am loving the pictures of the 240Z she looks lovely. Modern cars dont come close to a classic, and you are one lucky man living that close to le mans.I have only been going since 2003 but i have been every year since and made it there for the DTM as well, not quite the same feel as le mans but a real good trip. I know everyone says it but it is all about the spirit of le mans a large group of like minded people doing and taking part in something that they love.  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
