Also a profile of Enzo Ferrari on BBC 2, Friday 23 at 9.00pm, which promises 'the string of fatal accidents that befell his drivers'.

Is the TV trying to portray motor sport as a series of prangs?

as I was on late shift and her indoors did not tape it, was it any good and what lessons did they learn or was that just a headliner to get us to view.

It wasn't too bad, although to a motorsport enthusiast nothing new.   There was very little "sensational" actual footage used; instead computer simulations were used, for example for the Senna, Zanardi and Earnhardt accidents.   The modern situation was set in context at the start of the programme with a brief bit about the 50s/60s era and the onset of safety considerations (circuit layout/medical in the late60s/70s after Jackie Stewart's crash.   The lessons learned were mainly recent and focussed pretty much on car design/construction changes

No problems - it is very unlikely that you would feel isolated, ostracised or socially outcast if you do not see it.......

Stand by for 'World's 10 Worst Crashes' on C5, narrated no doubt by that well-known motor racing icon, Dale Winton ! :(
