Former world champion Colin McRae, who started the day with a lead of nearly five and a half minutes, crashed 80 km from the end of the special section and is out of the race. The Scot was taken by helicopter to Zouerat but emerged standing up and organisers said there were no serious worries.
Thanks for the info Nordic. Some (if not all) of the programmes have been transmitted before but it's good that they are all together. Maybe I'll record the lot for potential distribution to those without access to BBC4. Anyone interested?
If you have recorded the programs tonight, are they on video or recorded to DVD. I would really like a copy of the Zanardi program and the Land speed record program on DVD if anyone has done so. The LSR program was excellent ! I taped them but will no doubt tape over them without realising some time in the future.
