Hi Mark
Gurston is a great spectators track and is interesting for the drivers.
Having walked the track a number of years ago .........you have to have a fair amount of bottle .....especially round the carousel.
We are travelling down saturday evening,so as to relive an evenings memories before....the big raceon the Sunday
The last event at Gurston."Uncle"(Ian) came second in class.
You would be welcome to join us if you want to.
Andy

Hopefully we will be joining you. Just to complete the experience, will you be taking the Shed, an 8 man tent, a barbecue and a couple of gazebos? It will seem like LM all over again...

Hi Pete
Ian said that due to the rural position of Gurston the 8 man tent would probably require planning permission to errect .......so we will be sleeping in 2 man jobbies for the saturday night

Hi Rich
Gurston is on Sunday 21st july.
It's only a club meeting and not RAC/BARC ,however there is usually some quite interesting machinery gathered

No,no, that is never it - it is just the major highlight of the year! MGCC at Silverstone this weekend, followed by a bit of a rest until Goodwood in middle of July.

or do other things happen before June 2004. What are you lot upto over the coming months, race wise that is We're a bit spoilt for choice over on this side of the water. So, in calendar order... Pepsi 400 Daytona in 2 weeks Brickyard 400 Indy in Aug F1 Indy Sept Petit Le Mans Road Atlanta Oct - the best enduro in the world from a spectators point of view - if you do just one US race, make it this one Rolex 24 hrs Daytona Feb (a bit shite this year, but only 40 mins away) 12 hrs of Sebring March Indy 500 May Nice to meet those we bumped into at Le Mans - the tandem R2D2 set-up worked a treat - will deffo be motorised for next year - assuming we can be bothered to do an 8000 mile round trip to stare at acres of concrete walls, topped with barbed wire. What a piss take.
