Essex girls are ridiculed in the tabloid papers for being blonde, not very intelligent, wear tarty clothing and driving 'sporty' cars built by Ford - oh and also being pretty well sexually available and 'up for it'.
A HUGE generalisation I know.  
(BTW - I live in Essex - well the top bit near to Suffolk.  But that doesn't mean I'm an Essex man though)

A wee bit unfair to compare a stock looking 'stang with a 427 Cobra!
You're correct though, the 'cooking' Mustang is lame and needs to be sent to the glue factory. However the current Mach 1 and Cobra versions and any of the many Saleen variants are altogether more lively.
A 2003 Cobra would put a serious hurt on a comparible Blackpool Bomber, for around half the price. Granted the steering wheel is on the wrong side, but the run down to Le Mans would be a lot safer and just as noisy.
