SEAT were going to power a GT next year. But as the guy who whent out to spain to build the thing, found that the wind-tunnel was a tomato canning factory. Hes now back in F1. So guess that project is dead. Shame realy as I was going to make the tea & coffee for them in 2004.

Wish list for returns

Aston Martin (come on Ford....)
Jag (err come on Ford...again)
Lotus
MG

So you could have VAG vs Ford

My Wish list for returns:

Lorraine Dietrich (one of the only able to compete with Bents)
DB (The French one, not the Astons')
Jaguar
Lotus AND Morgan AND TVR (maybe a specific class just for them)
....

...
Commer (Ok it's not a return but it's still a wish and will make efforts of Andy and his posters more valuable  ;) )
Le Mans is life, anything before and after is just waiting...

... it's not the taking part but the winning that counts !

So far the voting shows that the Bentley Boys need to go back . (45%)

The porsche idea is second favourite .But no one wants MG, why not , They are a British mass production car firm employing british people ( even if they are from birmingham ) . As patriotic brits shouldnt we support British people , the LMP675 car was very fast and looked really good .

At worst ...... The MG girls would be back at the Village :P :P :P :P :P

The Flying B , was and is a beautiful car , but they wont race it again, unless a privateer comes in , heres for hoping ,

VOTE MG , they wont come back because they cant afford to  , why , because not enough people but their cars , or that the MG TF is an Essex house wifes , hair dressers car ( like the Audi TT ) .

Bentley always stated that it was a 3 year deal to coincide with the launch of the Continental GT. Haven't heard anything concrete yet but the word is that Audi's new car for the 2004 regs will be a GTP, so there would be VW group conflict there. Can't see the cars being allowed to race in private hands either. Museum pieces now I'm afraid. (And maybe for the Le Mans Classic XV in 2030!!!!  ;) )

OK Gib, just for you, here are some memories!

(Just noticed on this first shot taken just as the flag is about to drop at the start of the race how many spare seats there are in the stand in the background!!)

Cheers

Rick
