They make a big fuss about the quisine, but most of it you'd want to wipe of your shoe quickly if you stood on it. - Oysters - salty snot, and all these things made out of duck fat, or fat ducks.  Tripe sausages.  And then there's horsemeat.  I could go on but I've just eaten (rostbif!)

The Red Arrows have just flown over central London, leaving a trail of Red, White and Blue smoke.  Isn't this the Tricoleur?  Shouldn't they be told?

Well done Seb Coe and the team. Hopefully it will be a massive boost for East London and other area that it will be affected.

Should mean plenty of spending on leisure centers etc in the south east. Good news for me.

Just got to decide what sport I am best suited to and start the training.

its great news for london. not only does it mean that all the money spent campaigning hasnt been wasted on a failed bid, it also means poorer areas of london can be regenerated and a new focus can be placed on developing london into one of the most attractive destinations to visit worldwide. you would at least hope that this bid means transport and facilities across london will be dramatically improved over the next 7 years

Congrats to you Londoners, well done.  Hope the dollar/pound exchange is a little more favorable by then so we can afford to attend.

Fair Play is an Olympic Value...
... don't let me think you deserve the attribution of the Games to your country !!!! Sad
