Hey Randy,
Yeah, up in the Tampa area.  Kirsten & I are flying in Wed. and staying with my aunt & uncle just north of Tampa.  We'll hit the road about five-ish Saturday morning for Sebring.  Give me a shout Friday night (I drop you a PM with my cell number) and let us know if you need us to pick up any supplies on the way in Saturday morning, KT & I will show up loaded with some beer & munchies.

I cornholed in Birmingham AL last June, with a realtor and his buddy!! It's good fun when pi$$ed, just like many pub games...

Are you sure it was Birmingham AL in June and not Gay Key West in March?

Dx
Live imperfectly and with great delight.

For anyone that may be interested, Lynyrd Skynyrd are playing in Plant City Florida (Just off I4 before you get to Tampa) on Sunday 14th March at the Plant City Strawberry Festival. Tickets cost $25 - $30.

I went to see them last night in Manchester and they were awesume. Just a shame I can't make the date in Florida as I think 210 miles in 2 hours might be pushing it a bit. ;D

Err, that sounds like a very familiar quote from Matt Harper in the early hours one Fall as we left Indy bound for the Mid Ohio ALMS race.  I was Han Solo.  He was Chewbacca.  Warp drive was engaged.

I have ridden with Matt & Dave Harper, AKA Hans & Chewie in the Millenium Falcon, cleverly disguised as a Volvo estate, on the Peage, and yes, we were travelling at lightspeed....Whoosh!

No! No, that's not right. I was Captain James T Kirk - he was Sulu. I distinctly remember ordering, "Proton shields up - select warp speed, Mr Sulu."
All of a sudden, eastern Indiana blurred and became western Ohio. It was all very irresponsible.

Hey Capt Kirk, sorry i won't be seeing you this week, it's a real bummer I'll be in Italy with the Brethren next week, so it's not all bad...

Next time huh?
I wouldn't sit there if I were you, it's still a bit wet.

It really is a shame that you are not coming this time Andy - but your excuse is a good one - and as ever, it'll be here next year.
Have a great time hurtling down mountains, with no brakes, dude.
I'm guessing you have your hands full tonight, with the advance party - just so all you folks not coming this year don't feel too pissed-off, we had a tornado warning this afternoon and it has slashed-down all day today.
Tomorrow's arrivals may have quite dramatic short finals into MCO - there's a major storm forecast in the area around the time they are flaps and wheels down. I'll rush them to FoF to calm their nerves.
Saturday's bunch can look forward to a much calmer evening, back in the high 70's.

Hi.  My plans for Sebring this year are in the shitter.  I'm still trying to find a way to get there.  Does anybody know of anyone that is getting into Orlando on Thursday and can give me a ride to the track?  Free copy of the latest version of "Turn 10 Sebring" and anything else that would encorage your help.  Well, almost anything...  ;D
