Approaching Tetre Rouge? No maybe not - too many trees on the right casting shadows on the track. I'll think again.....

Yes, looks like the end of the Mulsanne Corner / Indianapolis section at the corner prior to the Indianapolis / Arnage spectators area.
Like you say Robbo, it's at this area that Peter Dunbreck went flying.

With Ferme de Mulsanne I mean the farm which is on the outside of the track at the slight turn right on the Hunaudieres just behind the second chicane.

Close enough! It's actually just after the second chicane. The Mercedes is accelerating towards the kink.

The "Auberge" Hotel is just out of shot on the left. And I was standing behind the barriers just by the last of the tyre walls that block the old track/road.
