Mansell's comeback career has been a great advert for those who retire at the top and stay that way.

Autosport behind the times in all things non-F1 as usual, I heard 3 weeks ago (from a v reliable source) that they had gone bust!

Shame for the guys who worked there, not the best of times to lose a job, especially as the season draws to a close.
Of course I buy green cars, my Aston is green, my MGB is green, my Disco Sport is green,  oh, that's not what you meant by green?

I might not have been the biggest nigel fan but sad to see another team die, lets hope we get more good news like Pescarollo rather than bad news like this.

Shame Nigel couldn't just throw a few more of his millions at this to keep it afloat.  I guess his kiddies are bored with it and have moved on to another hobby that they can blow daddy's money on.   Don't let the door hit you on the ass on the way out Nige...

Perhaps he should try Champ car - he could probably still win that.  ;D

Are you kidding?  As lame as Indycar racing has become one of his spoiled brats could probably win at it.
After all its become a catch-all for children, and grandchildren of famous fathers that are trying to cash in on daddy's name.

Mansell's comeback career has been a great advert for those who retire at the top and stay that way.

At least Mario kept trying from '66 until '00, coming closest with his second place in '95 with Courage.....

Just beacuse the team has shut down, that does not mean we have seen the last of the mansell family at Le Mans (or other races come to that)
Some people will tell you that slow is good - and it may be, on some days - but I am here to tell you that fast is better.

fun quote from http://www.ginettacars.com/new/news_details.php?id=336

Quote
Ginetta announces today that Zytek Motorsport (formerly Zytek Engineering) went into administration on Friday 15th October, after a deal to sell the remaining shares to it's largest individual shareholder Ginetta Chairman, Lawrence Tomlinson fell through.

Mr Tomlinson commented: "The deal kept changing and eventually enough was enough. The business has been badly managed for the last 18 months. Zytek's customers and employees have been badly treated as resources have been diverted to non-core activity behind mine and the Board of Directors backs. I have started a £5m law suit against Bill Gibson, a Director of Zytek Motorsport and Zytek Group. Ginetta will continue to build on it's phenomenal success and is recruiting more engineers to strengthen it's team and develop more new cars and engines in house."
If you're going through hell, keep going.
