Planning a return to Le Mans next year, so if they're being produced it'd be rude not to get one  ;)

Yes please also, and a pole if they are available?  ??? One of those nice bendy ones that attach to your tent... ;D That'll be two at Tertre Rouge.
Go placidly amidst the noise and haste....

I am assuming a 5' x 3' flag, single sided.  Getting the cost down has been a challenge, but I have found a Chinese printer, colorful-hut, that offers this for £15.80 including free economy delivery.

I am very tempted to see one first before ordering the rest.

Unless anyone is in a hurry, or suggests another printer I will order one.

Cooooo Weeee Aircus did you ask about poles? Just a thought but would inflatable ones be good? They wouldnt sink if we had a flood.
Cheers Lofty.

or perhaps a drinking order

Is is possible for me to have one. We've not been to Le Mans for years and are heading back next year with some newbies, so thought i'd make sure we make the right impression on them  ;D

Pole I use is a carp fishing pole, very effective, got mine from a company called blue sky iirc.
Only problem is that the fibreglass spikes that they can supply to anchor it are not great in the windy conditions that are often present in LM.
Problem solved by getting 2 lengths of threaded steel rod and hammering them in the ground, but take a crow bar to get them out when you leave!

I usually lash the flagpole to one of the gazebo uprights with cable ties. Simples.

Used to do that, but stopped when it destroyed the gazebo in a squall.

This place does flag poles (plus all manner of bright coloured dangly things) - http://www.hizakite.co.uk/

Don't overload the carp-rod poles!!

This was mine in 2007.

I bought a 7m carbon-fibre pole from Life's A Breeze.

So far it's lasted 4 Le Mans

The carp pole I got has lasted 10 years, 3 flags on it and a pennant, still going strong.
So it will probably break this year!

You missed me off the list......
