Brought my daughter Debby down this year, she's wanted to come for years, she thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience and is already planning for next year. We arrived really late on Thursday and were off before race end, so I missed out on seeing a lot of old friends as there simply wasn't time. Debby also commented that there were more women than she expected, though they are still in a small minority around the campsites.
The "facilities" really are poor in my opinion, for both sexes, but she coped better with that than I thought she might. As a general point I do think they ought to have a few more facilities around the campsites, to save the long walk - even some of those plastic huts would be better than nothing.
