Popped in yesterday, the LMP1 HYBRID  battle will be interesting but the speed the Porsches take into the wellington straight is just amazing

Great race.  I missed Saturday but then I'm not keen on snow!

Never argue with an idiot, they'll only drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Put the tent up during the snow on Saturday morning and chipped the ice off it on Sunday morning. I'm getting too old for this camping in April lark. Sorry if I missed you gents on Sunday. I had a walk round in the "beer zone" behind the wing but couldn't see anyone. I'm sorry if I missed you.

Thanks - good, informative news and writing as always on the blog - and with extra thanks from me this year as, unusually,  I couldnt make it there this year - brings it to life.

Ended up having to skip Saturday so didn't stay overnight.  Mind you I'm getting too old for camping in the snow (last time was Easter 2013 for a charity event at -8....too much, too much!).
So, came up the line early Sunday to Sliverstone and grabbed a seat with me mates in the International Stand on the start line for the start, wandered round the circuit during the afternoon to watch the action before heading up to the ELO concert at the NEC in Brum!  Finally dropping off folk after the concert it was back down to south coast for sleeps at 0300.  What a day!

What a race, what a concert; what a day.  Hmmm - Spa in a day anyone?  ;D

Neither as photographer ... stood at the entry of village, waiting for cars that wouldn't come out.
Should have gone to the pits instead  >:(

Only at LMP1 teams, never seen them covering up their cars and garages as last weekend.
