The Wills generations (Brad Zak Max and I) have booked the Caravan into Silverstone Farm Campsite in the village for Saturday and Sunday night. If anybody fancies joining us, it's £15 / night / Adult with electric hook up, (£12 for a tent) apparently about a mile from entrance but as parking is free that's fine. Will be sparking up the BBQ to burn food in the evenings. Not Sure if doing ELMS, depends what time we arrive.

Anyone got a decent long-range forecast?

I'm certainly going to be there on Sunday, but if the forecast is somewhere close to half-decent then I might rock up on Saturday & camp overnight.

Great minds think alike, but if the weathers really crap I'll skip Sunday as well and watch the live feed.

I don't think you have to pre book at silverstone farm and they say that if it gets busy they just open another field so, weather dependant, could be an option.

Hope to be there for at least two, possibly three days.  Hope too for a few degrees warmer than last year.

Definitely not staying overnight.  Warm bed in warm house 30 minutes away!

From the Met Office Long Range Forecast:

UK Outlook for Tuesday 4 Apr 2017 to Tuesday 18 Apr 2017:
Early April looks likely to see high pressure remaining close to or over the UK for the most part. This will bring drier and somewhat warmer conditions than normal for the time of year. If this is the case it is likely that we will see a greater spread in temperatures from day to night, with the risk of overnight frosts continuing for some. However, there may be bouts of unsettled weather at times too, though these will probably be short-lived.

Track action already starts on Thursday afternoon.
Just rebooked eurotunnel a few hours earlier to be in time for Thursdays photo briefing (painful > leaving home around 5 am).

Do we plan a CA meeting sometime during the weekend ?

Current BBC weather forecast says 12 degrees and, most importantly, dry. I can live with that.
Booked a weekend ticket and camping on Woodlands.
Should arrive Friday in time for WEC free practice.
Anyone fancy a beer-meet on the Friday evening or Saturday?
