Just got my conformation letter from the ACO, and for once, got exactly what I ordered.

However, I booked for 9 people, but one guy cannot now make it, so I have a spare allocation of 1 general entry ticket and 1 grandstand ticket.

Is it wise to reduce the allocation, just ask the ACO to reduce the numbers and take the reduced amount on my credit card.  I am loathe to do this as, having got the requested camp site & grandstand, I don’t want to give the ACO any reason to screw up.

Anyone got any experience of doing this?  I know I can probably sell the extra tickets, but it may be difficult to sell only one grandstand ticket.

I am still waiting for a decision on my 1000 kms request for refund.......

So i would phone and have details changed quickly , dont let it go to long. The Grandstand tickets are very expensive.

If not i will swop a T shirt for the seat !!!!!!!!!

Depends what you might want to order next time DelBoy. I take the view, like you have, that it is less risky to change the order - however this year I let a 4 seat allocation in the finish line tribune go because having sdone it once, my ghroup weren't bothered to do it again.

Whereas the MB tickets, I have left the number unchanged as there is always someone here that needs one or two, if I don't (Robbo being the proud recipient this year).

I agree that a single grandstand ticket might be harder to get rid of though.

Thanks for the input guys.

I have decided to keep the allocation and sell the spares.

What I didn't mention in the previous post is that I have an ace up the sleeve - one spare MB ticket.

So I have for sale:
1 x Enciente General (serie A)
1 x Tribune T19 (thats the one next to the ACO stand - they have renumbered/renamed all the stands this year)
1 x MB

All tickets at face value (+postage)
I will split ONLY if I can sell ALL tickets separately.

Robbo, your name is on the MB ticket if I can sell the others.

DelBoy - you can also drop the tickets back to the ACO when you arrive and if they sell them you get the money...

Last year we had a spare general entrance and an ACO stand ticket. Ian B, informed this fact on the forum and both were snapped up in no time. I do not believe that you will have a problem shifting yours.
Good luck.

JP, if you end up with a spare Houx Annexe pass you don't need, I will happily purchase it.

Our group has a late comer (problem making up mind) so that'll be 10 cars and I have only been allocated 9 Houx Annexe - so I need another.

Ta very muchly.

No Probs Steve. We requested 4 originally. Just that some of our guys fancy giving MB a try if we can get some permits. If we do then my 4 HA's will be available.

I'll let you know as soon as I know anything. So far I haven't had anything back from the ACO at all.  Angry

Smokie, if this results in a bigger waiting list for the WS, I think we may have to have a vote on it. Roll Eyes Roll Eyes
