Is Canada Dry Covid free?  Has anyone warned Phil about Monkeypox?

No comma No.

Phil has the Jab documentation.  I didn't tell him about Monkey Pox.  Even if I did I don't think it would put him off.

Cotswolds > Folkestone TUNNEL Calais > Le Mans.

Cannot bl**dy wait! Grin

He’s a LM virgin so I can’t wait for him to experience Arnage at night!

We are (were) regulars at RALLY GB- but Dan trying LM on my recommendation!  Should be mega.

Bit of a long shot, maybe, but..........

Anyone have info. on queuing times, at either Newhaven (to get on) and Dieppe (to get off)?

I've tried asking the ferry co but their responses either refer to Dover - which is no f*@7ing use, or the standard wording on their website and to 'allow extra time'  Roll Eyes

Its not like Dover.  As its a small operation, they're a bit laid back.  It may have all changed in the last couple of years, but I don't think they unlock the gates at Newhaven till an hour before sailing.  There's a fair bit of freight to get on, and it must slow down when really busy. Unloading is pretty quick as its a smallish boat, but the upstairs may take a bit longer, and then you're straight on the bypass.

But with Brexit, you'll all be body cavity searched for British sausage Wink

I am travelling on the DFDS from Newhaven on Tuesday afternoon so will post up. in 2019 it took a couple of hours to get on the Ferry at Newhaven but seem pretty quick getting off, 30minutes or so.

Thank you, Jules  Smiley

Had a useful response from the operation at Dieppe - allow about an hour/hour & twenty to get through, as a tourist.
Not great, but manageable

If it's freight, basically, all bets are off!

We are heading down to Portsmouth tomorrow evening (1st June) for a Brittany Ferry, I will def be allowing some extra time as it's the start of the long bank holiday weekend.

After 34 straight years from 1986 to 2019, I missed 2020 (of course) and took the decision not to go last year.  But I'm heading back for #35 this year, on the 8.15 am ferry from Portsmouth to Caen tomorrow morning for the full experience....   Smiley

I'm hoping team Langoustine haven't pushed of to some long forgotten edge of BN and have allocated us pastures on the shores of Camp C'Arnage.

Taking number one son for his exposure to 'dad-in-the-raw' I wonder how that's going to go?

At least dad doesn't have to drive  Grin
Pompey Caen on Thursday morning, I hope I can remember where SuperU is...

See you soon gang.

Back this year after missing 2020 & 21. Other than that been going since 1991 except for year I got shunned by best mate after my divorce! Should have gone anyway as would have had a better time.

Travelling via Dover-Calais Wed 8th. Will be looking out for stickered travellers. Can't wait   Smiley
