I can sympathise Pretzel with a similarly aged gaff. Small development close to centre of small market town (albeit it with BIG motorsport heritage!!), forgotten about tha darned bells. Not just restricted to Saturdays for weddings (mugs!!!) or Sunday bible bashing, but also during the week for bell ringing bleedin' practise!! I ask ya!

And to top it all, we're not far from the town memorial garden where the annual fogey-fest season of Sunday afternoon brass band bollocks is nearly upon us again. And the old silver hairs have the afrontery to complain about the noise coming from my Pug .. don't they like "Dream Theater" for heaven's sake? What is the world coming to?

Pah! Humbug etc......

Ok some of you can probably help me in my sleeping disorder.

One complete week per year, in early june, I can't sleep because or stupid junkies running rodeos and burns on a field near the international Le Mans airport...

... what's the best way to stop them? Are nails spread on the track efficient enought to stop them ????
Le Mans is life, anything before and after is just waiting...

... it's not the taking part but the winning that counts !

the wife used to bell ring.

Go into the bell tower, pull the rope(s) like f*** and let go, you must let go as you will end up in the bell tower with a bell end (ha ha ha) .

anyway, that should send the rope up and wrap around the wheel, if not, grease the furry pull thingy, she did tell me the name, or cut the ropes.

 ;)

then book your place with the devil

you could exploit your appreciating asset and move. Come and live in cheshire where the market starts at 5.30 am and farmers leave their tractors just out of sight of sight on your favourite bend

yours impailed on a tractor.
and i was rummaging around in the loft, when i found an original copy of the bible.....which was nice
