I feel I am infinately qualified for this most demanding of roles.
I am a fluent speaker in the ancient dialect of Lutonian, which, as you well know, is a derivation of the early Breton (well, spoken in down town Bret anyway). This in itself is a true root of French and, besides, I've been to Quebec and they speak French there better than those in France itself (so I'm told).
Secondly, as previously publicised, I am an "All round good egg and snappy dresser" and a "Well heeled man about town". Plus I'm an ex salty seadog - foreign travel is in my blood - 'nuff said.
I would add that the prospect of having the steering wheel on the wrong side is not an unknown concept to me as my sit-on mower is a left hooker (well almost - more like a McLaren F1 - you sit in the middle).
To conclude, although I may occasionally snore and fart, I am a whizz at Monopoly and know that those lines on a map are the roads and not snail trails.
