IMO it seems a bit of a lottery which site you get. Last year Beasejour seems to be the fallback site wherever they couldn't give people their choice.

Last year there seemed to be a glut of most kinds of tickets, as certain auction sites had camping tickets selling, some UNDER face value, right up until the off. But the year before all sites were attracting premiums IIRC.

I suspect that due to "the system" many people over-order then let the spares go, either to mates or by other means.

My humble opinion is that Houx Annexe, although without hookups, is a good all round well positioned site within an easy walk of the village area and Tetre Rouge.
There's generally a fair amont of space, and plently of friendly faces.

We plan (ACO permitting) to be on there again next year, 20 of us in assorted cobras and classic American iron (1932 Ford Pickup, Cadillac, Lincoln etc.)

All the best

I'll really need to investigate with local dealers and hirers...
... maybe we could rent to private local camper owners !!!

I will need some budget ideas, such as the price you can afford for a weekly rental, delivered at LM...
... and I don't accept answers such as "the less possible..."
Le Mans is life, anything before and after is just waiting...

... it's not the taking part but the winning that counts !

A leetle bit more than the less possible...

Gilles, if you can find out what a hire would cost then you might find quite a bit of business here.

I recall the staff from Airtrack used to hire one locally - they used it at their VIP (sic) site on Technoparc - must have been c6 berth C class home.

However, one of the other reasons to take from UK would be you can carry all your clobber in it, so not sure if local hiring would be as good?

I've also seen a place at Ouistream just as you leave the ferry terminal (Caen) that looks like it rents homes.
