Me and the chef are going to this, wondered if anyone else is.

We have found a place to stay for 14 euro per night b&b.

We should be going out Saturday afternoon P&O to Calais and coming back sunday night. ( P&O will be free for us )

I think HGB is going......  Anyone else.

You don't win Le Mans - you outlast it.

You're right Phil, I'll be there (first motor sport outing in 2005, maybe second or third... Grin). 14 € is a top price per night, where will you stay ?
Steve, be a man and come over.      Wink

Well something has to break up the dullness between Sebring and Le Mans!!  Wink Grin

My geography is pretty poor and as someone on here is likely to know off the top of their head to save me getting the maps out, how far is Spa from Calais, or is there a more convenienet port.

Anyone know the itinerary for the weekend yet?

It's about 350 Kms from Calais to Spa-Francorchamps. Antwerpen should be the closest port to Spa (roughly 150 Kms). I don't know whether there are ferries going there from the UK, though.

Anyone see Clarkson last night at the Nurburgring? He was driving a diesel Jag and just manage to scrape in under 10 minutes.

Looked a bit scary, with plenty of scope for accidents...

The 24 Hours of the Ring will take place in May (7th/8th) at the Nordschleife. Last year the Ring and LM 24 Hours were at the same weekend. So, before anyone asks, yes I will be at and around the Ring in early May this year.  Grin

We have a group of 6 going. We decided that it was just too long to wait until Le Mans for some quality motor racing.

Booking confirmed, just waiting for the ferry tickets to drop through door.

The hostel was 39 euro for both persons for a night with Breakfast
